I often come up with stories based on the mental images I get from songs, and there were a bunch of songs that helped me decide on both the characters and the direction of the story when I was drawing Painoko, so I thought I might as well write them down…

I personally love these sorts of stories, so I hope all of you who love Painoko will put them into a playlist and enjoy them too!

Comment on “Orchestra”: I love the music video and the lyrics—they made me want to create a story with a bright, yet somewhat lonely atmosphere, so I started drawing Painoko.

Comment on “Third Man”: A really great song by my beloved Sayaka Yamamoto. It gave me ending-theme vibes when I listened to it, personally.
